Reimagining a brand through meaningful design.

Windstream Enterprise builds and manages network solutions, including SD-WAN and UCaaS, to leverage the power made possible by the cloud.

The company was looking to revamp its brand and digital presence by crafting an over-arching brand identity to cover the various dimensions of their growing business capabilities. As the lead digital designer, I was responsible for crafting the company's marketing website, microsites, and product dashboard to grow their sales efforts as they moved into a new channel of distribution.

A new identity and brand system.

The VSA consumer team had done a great job of creating a dynamic and bold new identity for WE. Still, we needed to expand and digitize the system to unite the shared visual language in a way that was scalable and flexible enough for all the digital needs of a growing technology company. This included digital ads, motion, animation, and product UX needs that allowed all the Elements, Components, and Modules to be reused in many contexts.

Design rules that can scale.

This large scale redesign required us to spend a lot of time designing the basics of the system before creating the larger building blocks. This visual refresh and consolidation of all the Elements allowed the fuller system to evolve and the vibrant colors, typography, spacing, utility icons, and interaction flows to be very carefully architected.

Visually designed to stand out.

Once the Elements were established, we were able to create the Components, Modules, and Templates that were clear and scalable across the various digital properties WE needed to serve.
